Ezio's story follows Ezio from birth to the betrayal of his family and finding out his father was an assassin before becoming an assassin himself and avenging his family. Ezio rebuilds the Italian brotherhood and then goes on a trek to find the keys to unlock Altair's library. In total his story covers a span of 54 years.

Ezio's Story uses all historic cutscenes in the order of how they happened in history as opposed to in what order they happened in the game. No modern day scenes or gameplay used.
