On Saturday April 9th I decided to go out and do some weekend railfanning. This weekend I decided to go out to Ho-Ho-Kus Station on the New Jersey Transit Main/ Bergen County Line. It was my first time railfanning New Jersey Transit. And since there is a crossing at the station and one down the tracks it means tons of horn action. I caught ALP-45DPs, ALP-45As, PL42ACs locomotives, NJT and Metro North Comet V Cab Cars and Coaches, NJT GP40PH-2 locomotives, and NJT Multilevel Level Cab Cars and Coaches. Most NJT trains have Restricted Nathan K5LA horns. With few others having other Horn models and some having unrestricted K5LAs. One ALP-45DP (#4528) I caught had a unrestricted K5LA. There were also some friendly engineers who waved and or honked the horn for me, so thanks to them for that.
