In this quick After Effects Tutorial, I'll show you how to take snapshots in After Effects. Bear in mind that After Effects has two separate things that some people get confused with, namely snapshots and screenshots. In order to save a frame you've to use the screenshot option and export it as Photoshop file or any other image file type such as PNG, jpeg, etc. After effects allows your to save 4 different snapshots. It is stored in its memory by pressing shift + F5, shift + F6, shift + F7, shift + F8. To retrieve each snapshot use F5, F6, F7, or F8. Don't forget to purge the taken snapshots from the memory at the end.
Snapshot is saved temporary in the memory, so you won't be able to access it other than the preview. If you want to access "Snapshot" files, then you should instead use "Screenshot" inside Ae, to learn how, watch [ Ссылка ]
