Meet K Love, a highly sought-after Spoken Word Artist, who embodies vulnerability, authenticity, and transparency in both her artistry and her humanity. With an international presence as a touring poet, speaker, and author, she's been featured on a Malik Yusef album produced by Kanye West, shared stages with notable artists like Talib Kweli and Jasmine Sullivan, and spoken alongside distinguished Black Leaders such Angel Davis, Chairman Fred Hampton Jr, and most recently the former President, Barack Obama. A twice-published author and awarded humanitarian, K Love is affectionately known as the "Mother of the Southside" in Chicago for her dedication to mentoring youth and has received numerous awards, including the Women of Pan-Africa Award, 40 under 40 Women’s League and Martin Luther King Jr. Award. She has even had her likeness painted on a mural located at the Northlawndale Firehouse Art Center. An an agent of change, K Love is a favorite amongst the educational circuit.
