Here are a few tips to help you find a flat in Prague (particularly as an American/Canadian):
-Utilize Facebook groups, but make sure they are no commission groups
-Use local Czech sites such as: Sreality, Bezrealitky, and Expats.cz
-Hire a realtor to help you find a flat

A few things to remember to ask when viewing flats:
-Is this a co-op or independently owned?
-Will they be willing to sign housing paperwork?

This will save you time and energy instead of chasing down 3 signatures instead of one!
