This is our reaction and review to The Thing (1982). A helicopter shooting at a sled dog disturbs a group of American research scientists at their base camp in rural Antarctica. The dog viciously attacks both humans and dogs in the camp when they take it in, and they learn that the beast can take the form of its victims. Before the nasty beast picks them off one by one, the camp staff is led by a cunning helicopter pilot (Kurt Russell) and the camp doctor
