So who doesn’t LOVE a keto pizza? Well I don’t love Cauliflower Pizza keto recipes, that’s for sure. SO much effort to make a keto pizza base and they never hit the spot. Well this keto pizza base recipe is fantastic for sure! The Keto Pizza base recipe is so versatile that it can be made as a keto pizza deep dish, or a flatter, crispier keto pizza base. Yup, you can choose! And this Keto Pizza is AMAZING for keto meal prep!

So this Keto Pizza base recipe, which is of course, a low carb pizza base recipe, follows similar ingredients to the most recent Keto Bread recipes on my channel, with a few changes. The result is a keto pizza base which is wonderfully crispy on the outside, but with a keto pizza deep dish inner which is wonderfully soft – the perfect combination for a keto pizza base / low carb pizza base.

I have had too many disappointments with Low carb pizza base recipes, that I was determined to find one that is easy keto to make and tastes like regular pizza. And I believe this keto pizza base recipe is the one. I am thrilled to say goodbye to cauliflower pizza keto recipes – those are the worst and just never worked as I wanted those cauliflower pizza keto recipes to work. And who wants to cook and squeeze dry cauliflower with cheese cloth to make a keto pizza / a low carb pizza? Not I, thank you.

Ingredients for the Keto Pizza Base Recipe:

1/4 cup of Oat Fiber (20g/0.73oz)
1/3 cup Almond Meal or Almond Flour (32g / 1.13oz)
2/3 cup of Vital Wheat Gluten (95g/3.35oz)
0.5 teaspoon Salt (3g / 0.1oz)
1 Tablespoon powdered Sweetener (15g/0.5oz)
1/4 teaspoon Xanthan Gum (1.25g/0.44oz)

1/2 cup warm water (50 C / 120F) (120ml/4oz)
1.5 teaspoons INSTANT Yeast (4g/0.14oz)
1/2 teaspoon Honey (3.5g/0.12oz)
1 Egg (lightly beaten)
1 Tablespoon softened Unsalted Butter (15g/0.5oz)


Macros for Keto Pizza Base (excluding toppings):
Calories: 782 cal
Fat: 39.5g
Carbs: 19.5g Net Carbs (79g total carbs – 29.5g fibre – 30g sugar alcohols)
Protein: 84.5g

Macros per slice of Keto Pizza Base, excluding toppings (assuming 8 slices):

Calories: 196 cal
Fat: 5g
Carbs: 2.4g Net Carbs (14g total carbs – 9.875g fibre – 3.75g sugar alcohols)
Protein: 10.5g
