The fourth attempt to choose Delhi’s new mayor turned out successful as voting concluded on Wednesday. This comes after three previous failed attempts. Ahead of the election, a ruckus broke out after AAP members argued with the Delhi Police over Vijender Gupta being allowed inside the MCD House. Earlier, BJP’s working president, Virendra Sachdeva, claimed that the mayoral election results would be shocking even if the party loses the poll.
