I was at a house concert last week and after everyone had left and a few of us were hanging around having drinks Carolyn Mark asked Dan to play her favorite song: Wino the Clown. Well, my heart nearly melted when I heard it! But I wasn't recording, so I had to arrange to 'get' the song another time/place. The next Monday they were back in town playing at the Railway and I was able to coax Dan into the back room (with a bit of Scotch) do give me this performance (of this perfect little Country HeartBreaker). This Sunday's song - Wino the Clown was released in 1983 by George Jones on the album 'Jones Country'.
