When I was about 14 I read a book called '1000 Journeys to Take Before You Die'. Those pages included stories about the Orient Express, tracking the spirit bears in Canada and driving the mountains of New England in the fall. Ever since then, these sweeping roads that wind through multi-coloured forests and over mountain passes have been a bucket list dream. This week we took one of the most famous roads in New England - the Kancamagus Highway - straight into the heart of the White Mountains, in search of those forests and views that I've dreamed of since I was a teenager.

We spent the past 2 years road tripping as much of Europe as we could, from the wild coasts of Portugal to the Syrian border in Turkey, tackling lockdowns and a van re-build along the way. But now, we're feeling like a new challenge. In the summer of 2022, we'll be shipping our van from the UK to Canada, on a mission to drive her all the way to Mexico baby! 🇲🇽 🌵
