This starter was locked up from years without use. I freed it up, and in this video I will show you how to apply 12 volts to the starter to test it. This is from a Toro/Wheel Horse lawn tractor with a Tecumseh engine, but this procedure is the same for any lawn or garden tractor, or even automobile electric starter.
