Welcome back to Recap On Tap. Kate Moss appeared to slur her words while giving a speech at an awards ceremony. The 48-year-old supermodel - who has been sober since 2018 - was presenting the Fashion Innovator gong to her friend Anthony Vaccarello at the Wall Street Journal's Innovator Awards but seemed to stumble through her speech in which she paid tribute to the creative director of the luxury fashion brand.
Moss has achieved something that no other model has. She had worked in fashion over three decades, launching trends, defining styles, but never becoming dated. Most models as famous as Moss become irrevocably associated with one era – Twiggy and the 60s, Lauren Hutton and the 70s – and though they enjoy revivals if their look comes back into fashion or their career changes, no one else has represented the constantly evolving face of fashion from one year to the next.
