This is (one of many) of my failed 5-star attempts at this modded fight using Hope as the leader with Fang and Vanille as the other party members. I refuse to use the gold watch because of my gamer ego :p

Despite my struggles I'm finding this fight to be really really fun! The original fight is already fast paced and intense and the mod just makes it even more so.

The mod does the following to *all* enemies (except the Poison resistance; that only affects Vercingetorix):

- Increases HP by 75% for low HP enemies. Enemies at 100,000 HP will see a 25% increase, decreasing to 10% at 1,000,000. All enemies above 1,000,000 get a constant 10% increase. This gives Verci 17,424,000 HP (up from 15,840,000).
- Enemy Strength or Magic is increased by 35%. If they are both equal at base, both receive a 25% boost instead. This gives Verci 5192 Strength and Magic (up from 4,154).
- Enemy ATB rate is 50% faster (so basically perma-haste).
- Verci is 90% resistant to Poison.

Effects and curiosities on the battle include:

- Verci retreats into his shell faster and more often. This combined with his higher HP means he heals noticeably more.
- Verci heals more while in his shell. If you don't play offensive enough, you will actually *lose* damage on him due to the enhanced healing.
- Poison loses a bit of its appeal IMO since it takes a while to stick sometimes and it doesn't get much time to do damage before he retreats again. I had fairly good Poison RNG this fight though which led to it being my personal best with Hope.
- He does a shit ton of damage later in the fight, Wicked Whirl is especially dangerous as it can take about 1/3rd HP or more in Tortoise depending on buffs that are up.

Tips on 5-starring this monstrosity with Hope are appreciated!

It's easy to install and also fully modular! You can choose what changes you want. There are also some extra QoL improvements such as enhanced drop rates from Long Gui and a way to make the RAV AI almost always prefer spells to strikes. I'm not using them but they're worth checking out at least.
