Phillips Director Dorothy Kosinski was asked by the Legatum Institute—a public policy think tank examining ideas and policies in support of free and prosperous societies in the world—to look at why the humanities are core to tackling 21st-century policy challenges and vital for driving growth and innovation.
On January 27, Kosinski discussed her resulting publication, "The Case for the Importance of Culture in a Prosperous Society," with George Washington University President Steven Knapp and Jeffrey Brown of PBS NewsHour at the Phillips.
