Sfincione is a thick Sicilian pizza, and one of the most delicious street foods you can find in my city, Palermo.
Originally created by mixing pizza and bread dough, this ultra-oft Sicilian pizza is very different from a ‘classic’ pizza. It’s topped with tomatoes, onions, anchovies and grated caciocavallo cheese, and seasoned with a dash of oregano and crunchy olive oil-saturated breadcrumbs. Drooling already?
