Title pretty much sums it all up. This Chevy Cruze was offered to us for a cheap enough price we couldn’t turn it down. Now, it had about a dozen assorted codes stored in the PCM for everything from loss of BCM communication to purge solenoid circuits. There was excessive water in the pcm connectors and under hood fuse box. All of which had to be drained and dried out thoroughly. We also changed a handful of blown fuses most likely related to the short caused from water intrusion. We also replaced the thermostat housing, thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, oil, oil filter, upper thermostat quick connect line, antifreeze, ambient air temperature sensor, and battery. The tires were topped off with air, the fuel system got some cleaner ran through it. And then lastly the headlights readjusted to a correct level. I do believe this car is ready to go. I do have plans to replace the timing belt as it is coming due. But first we wanted to make sure the car would be reliable again. I think we did pretty good, even having to dump some money into it. And it looks pretty decent too! Thank you all for watching this excessively long video as it’s not my typical style but I hope it’s enjoyed either way.
