I check out my new limited-edition Seiko Speedtimer (SSC909), which is a "limited" production watch at only 10,000 pieces and compare with a Rolex Daytona Panda. The Speedtimer is solar powered quartz chronograph with a small nod to the platinum Rolex Daytona. Since Seiko decided to pair this particular watch with a polarizing bracelet, I think these will be found for about $500 easily, which is close to what I paid on eBay. Given the great looks and the fact that Strapcode made a really nice bracelet for the Speedtimer, I think this watch will punch strongly above its weight.
