Day Twelve ~ Build Your Own Timber Frame Day twelve finds us in the log yard at The Gardens of Castle Rock beginning the process of turning logs from several white pine trees into usable lumber. We’re adding a couple rafters to the ends for an overhang, fascia boards and planks for the ceiling. Although we’ve cut wood for another ceiling project, this is the first time we’ve milled dimensional lumber with the Granberg Alaskan Mill. A very labor intensive process but so rewarding.
