Bonemass is the 3rd boss that you'll have to face in the Swamp. I have 6 different methods on how to kill it. For the most part, they're all incredibly similar. Use a blunt weapon, like the Iron Mace, and resist the poison using a Poison Resistance Mead.

The 6 methods include Meleeing it as usual (with parrying, blocking and dodging), shooting it with a bow using normal arrows, shooting it with frost arrows, spamming attacks using the Stagbreaker, hitting it in the face on a high platform, and glitching inside of a tree

The best strategy is going to be the first one since it's not that hard once you've upgraded all your gear with iron. However, crafting frost arrows and shooting from a tree house is a decent 2nd option. Good luck!
