“New Orleans: Peformance in the Streets” is a short documentary exploring the lives and thoughts of some of the performers gracing the French Quarter’s cultured streets. Interviews with several different performers, including a magician, two mimes, a singer and a clown, create a heartfelt story of individuals connected by their love of New Orleans and the French Quarter. Insight into their struggles with homelessness, Hurricane Katrina, and police make this short documentary both memorable and worthwhile.
