I was unsure how well this would work so I started pulling stumps without the roller fairlead and I was unsure how well this would work so I started pulling stumps without the roller fairlead and brackets installed. On the first pull I used two trees or stumps as the anchor and two pulleys to pull one medium sized stump. The two pulleys provides three times pulling force at the stump to be removed. This worked so well, for the next medium sized stump I used only one pulley which still provided two times the pulling force at the stump to be removed. The roller fairlead was installed later and does a great job guiding the cable.
