One of the most unique rhythm patterns on guitar is the Bo Diddley rhythm (or beat). Named for the singer/guitarist Bo Diddley, it is essentially a 3-2 clave rhythm that's been adapted for guitar.

For this example, I'm playing an open E major chord. You can play this with any chord.
