Matthew McConaughey has returned to his hometown after a horrific school shooting that left 19 students and two teachers dead. The Oscar winner paid a visit to Uvalde, Texas, on Friday with Rep. Tony Gonzales at the city's Civic Center, where he met with victims' families and other grieving community members. Gonzales tweeted gratitude for McConaughey's gesture and noted that the actor's efforts were "helping us heal" after a devastating week.
