Coconut Barfi
Ingredients:
• Fresh Coconut - 2 or Coconut Burada - 2 Cups
• Condensed Milk - 1 cup (250 g.)
• Sugar - 200 g.
• Ghee - 2 to 3 tbsp
• Dry Fruits ( Cashew, Pistachios, etc. ) - 10 to 12
• Green Cardamoms Powder - 4
How to make Coconut Barfi:
• Take 2 fresh coconuts, remove its hair & use the dry coconut.
• Wash it once & grate it.
• Prepare & Coarsely Grind for 5 to 10 seconds.
• Preheat the pan along with 2 tbsp of Ghee & melt it.
• Add 2 cups of desiccated coconuts & Roast by continuously stirring over medium flame for 5 minutes.
• Add the condensed milk and cook while continuously stirring until it reaches the thick consistency.
• On thickened mixture, Add Cardamom Powder & Mix Properly.
• Switch off the flame & Set it.
• Grease a plate by spreading some ghee & Spread the mixture evenly.
• Garnish it with the Dry Fruits & Chopped pistachios.
• Mark the cutting areas over it according to your desired size.
• Leave the Barfi to set & Separate to Pieces.
• After setting, Heat the plate for 5 to 10 seconds from the bottom to easily remove them.
• The fresh Coconut Barfi is ready to be served.
Serving:
• Barfi can be refrigerated and consumed over 7 to 8 days.
