Saving the SDGs: Seeking New Pathways to the 2030 Agenda || @g20orgbrasil24 || @Think20brasil ||
As the world approaches the midpoint of the 2030 Agenda’s implementation, two trends are clear. First, a few nations are on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, but most are not. Second, most global challenges have not been created by the Global South, but the latter is disproportionately affected by them. In the context of the ongoing mid-term review of the SDGs, there is a need to build institutional frameworks at both global and national levels to support the adoption of innovative policy solutions and practices aligned with the 2030 Agenda. This panel will discuss the principal recommendations of the Think20’s Task Force 6 about possible measures to accelerate efforts to achieve the SDGs.

About T20 Summit Agenda:
The T20 Summit is the milestone event of T20 India. It will be a gathering of distinguished Task Force members and policy experts from around the world. It provides an opportunity to collectively showcase ideas and insights on the priorities of India’s G20 Presidency including issues such as macroeconomics and trade, digital transformation, lifestyle for environment, green transition, global financial order, accelerating SDGs and reforming multilateralism.
During the Summit, T20 will have the privilege of releasing the final T20 communique and Task Force Statements, which will encapsulate the key recommendations and policy proposals developed by the Task Forces – through a year-long process – for the G20 Leaders’ Communique.
