Morning rituals geared at self-care are things we love to read about, think are great, but struggle to actually incorporate in to our day to day. Why? Because we are busy. Once we wake up there are breakfasts to make, emails to check, kids and dogs to take care of. It almost seems unrealistic to add more to our morning to-do-list while it is already jam packed the moment, we open our eyes.
The key is to start your day of right. The mood in which you wake up in sets the tone for the rest of the day, don’t allow it to be a negative one. If you wake up grouchy, what makes you smile? For me, it’s a delicious cup of coffee. The sound of my coffee machine, the smell that fills my kitchen, and finally tasting it immediately puts a smile on my face.
