Barry Lefer | Satellites have provided a great way to track how the changes in human activity during 2020 as a result of COIVD has impact air quality for different countries. The near real-time satellite data has given the atmospheric scientist community a unique opportunity to see how reductions in emissions from transportation (e.g. automobiles) can sometimes have different impacts on air quality in for different cities around the world.
