A random woman appeared to key the side of a Tesla Model 3 without knowing the high-tech car’s cameras were recording her act of vandalism.

Returning to their family car, that they believed they had parked safety and securely at Westfield Penrith shopping centre, NSW, Daniel Pearce, his dad and brothers were shocked to find that a giant scratch had defaced the left side of their Performance.

Costing up to $110,000 AUD, the high-tech car was clearly worth every penny, as the clever automobile had managed to record its alleged attacker on camera.

Watching back the footage in disbelief, the video showed a woman the family didn’t know, casually strolling up to the car and appearing to aggressively scratch the paint work with her keys, before walking away from the scene of the crime.
