Dr Eric Ogunleye, Advisor to the Vice President and Chief Economist at The African Development Bank (AfDB), is optimistic about Africa's recovery from unsustainable public finance, the debt crisis and the impact of Covid-19. He highlights the opportunities that Africa can take advantage of, in pursuit of solutions. He further outlines AfDB's three year multidimensional action plan for the management and mitigation of debt distress in Africa; as well as the 2021 - 2025 Strategy for Economic Governance in Africa (SEGA)
