Tupac Shakur has been resurrected from the dead by the magic of technology.
A hologram of the rapper who was murdered 15 years ago in a drive-by shooting wowed the crowds at Coachella, and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are preparing to take virtual Tupac on tour.
Could the Notorious B.I.G. be next?
Tupac's digital image was created by Digital Domain Media Group, which also made avatars of Brad Pitt for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Tupac is the first dead entertainer brought back to life by Digital Domain, the Wall Street Journal reports, but the technology has already been used to create holograms of deceased executives.
