All of these (older) wonderful Egyptian musicians made a living in the Heydey of Arab Music . They worked in the London Club Scene of the 1970s and 1980s
and have worked with all the Great Dancers of Egypt
And Aly is fast rising as an international player, he has his own Band -- The Minyawi Project and has worked intensively with Natasha Atlas and more recently the Colombian Singer Shakira

A medley of Abdel Halim Hafez "Mawood" (It is written) merging into Habibi w'inaya ( Beloved of my eye) with some taqasims by Mostafa Al Araby on the accordion and ending with a drum solo with Aly Minyawi, all improvised....
