One of the best things about the Garmin Fitness units is their ability to monitor heart rate. This video shows how to pair an ANT+ Heart Rate Monitor to a Garmin Forerunner 910XT.
We've chosen to demo the pairing in bike mode. Start by holding Mode, select Bike, choose which Bike Profile you'd like to use and then press Mode to access the main menu. Arrow down to Settings, then Bike Settings and scroll to the Heart Rate option. Press Enter to activate the Heart Rate menu, then press Enter to select. The GPS will scan for the sensor, which must be worn to be detected. We recommend wearing it for a few minutes prior to scanning for best results.
