Stockholm syndrome is a condition in which hostages develop a psychological bond with their captors during captivity. Emotional bonds may be formed between captors and captives, during intimate time together, but;..but these seemingly bonds are generally considered irrational
in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims.
What does this mean?
It means when people are induced with fear, for example within a partner-relationship where fear is used to control,
That even through we are being controlled within that relationship through fear and imprisonment, (like not being allowed to leave the house), that we might start eating out the hand of the oppressor, when he or she renders us some minor liberation form of imprisonment for a brief while, and even become emotional supportive and thankful towards our oppressor.
When we are living in such an oppressed, fearful imprisoned reality, we might not even be aware of it. But when you look at it from a distance you see clearly that this kind of fearful imprisoning oppression, has nothing to do with love or our best interest.
Therefor it is key to make sure to recognise a fear based, oppressing, controlling and imprisoning reality and learn to break free from it from the very inside out.
To help you to stop being manipulated and to help you to break free from the inside out, I have created the following fundamental animation for you.
