At least 32 people were killed and over 250 injured in the widespread violence and police firing triggered by the rape conviction of self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
The unrest which began in Panchkula spread to other parts of Haryana and Punjab and New Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh where a bus and train were set on fire.
