Trying to capture the elusive torque converter issue that many seem to be having. Just a few miles left on my warranty and my local dealer says they can't recreate the issue. On the first start up of the morning, I typically let the Jeep warm up. With foot on the brake, engaged transmission into reverse and it will rough idle and as of lately idled rough enough to shut off. Jeep will then crank and run fine the rest of the day. Seems to be worse on colder mornings. Dropping it off at a different dealership today with hopes that they will agree to fix the issue. After a quick Google search, you will find that this is a widespread issue.
