One of Eric's most potent lessons was that power alone is not enough. It must be coupled with "civic character." As he puts it, power plus character equals citizenship. At this moment in U.S. history, with a pandemic and racial revelation/uprising, we have an opportunity to use our power in ways that benefit the whole of society. We have an opportunity to build power together. Let's take it.
