Welcome to day 4 of your 30 day yoga challenge - Unwind. Taking a little time and space for yourself each day - to relax, and unwind, is vital to your health and happiness AND to the health and happiness of everyone around you. Because you can’t give with compassion and kindness to others until you fill your own cup. So today is for YOU to really take the time you need to give yourself some love and unwind.
We begin with a calming breath practice, and a powerful affirmation to set the intention for our class. Here is today's affirmation...
I am willing to let go of old stories and beliefs that limit me. I give myself this time to unwind, and restore. I release any notion that I don’t have time to love and heal myself. I must fill my own cup before I can give to others.
Next, we melt into a series of restful, restorative stretches and postures to help you release stress and tension in the neck and shoulders, and the hips, low back and hamstrings, and to fully relax and unwind.

This yoga practice is great for all fitness levels, including beginners, and for bodies of all shapes and sizes. Always listen to your body, take breaks whenever necessary, skip or modify any poses that feel unreasonable in your body, and most importantly HAVE FUN ;-)
