The Doomsday Clock, which is run by a group of atomic scientists, tells us when life as we know it will end. In 2023, the clocks hands moved the closest they’ve ever been to midnight, the point of annihilation. It sounds pretty scary, but this clock doesn’t work like a normal clock. We find out more about where it started and how it works today.
