Ancient Rome has no lack for terrible or weird emperors in their history books. The list of is actually pretty long and you wonder how those people managed to rule a vast empire. This one, Caracalla, may not be as “famous” as Nero and Caligula, but he definitely topped the list of most tyrannical and delusional Roman emperor. He was the one convinced of the theory that Aristotle had poisoned Alexander the Great and thereby executed a group of philosophers in the school of Aristotle to avenge for his great idol - centuries after the death of Alexander the Great. Talk about being delulu!
