Smittybilt X2O COMP - Waterproof Synthetic Rope Winch - 10,000 lb. Load Capacity: [ Ссылка ]
Using aluminum bar stock I create an easy and affordable custom winch control box (solonoid pack) for the Smittybilt X2O COMP – Waterproof Synthetic Rope Winch with 10,000 lb. Load Capacity. Cutting two lengths - one 6" and the other 10" - I first located existing holes on the cross member supporting the grill that I would use to secure the aluminum bars and drilled matching holes that I would use to mount them. Next, using a hole pattern for the control box, I drilled 4 holes in the aluminum bar that would be used to secure the control box using its existing mounting screw holes. Once the control box was secured to the aluminum bar I attached it to the grill cross member using 1/4" bolts with locking washers and nuts.

This setup is extremely rugged but very easy to access the power switch and remote control wired port thanks to the easily removable dust cover over the radiator (I actually removed the retainer clips permanently). Because the control box is rated IP68 I shouldn't have to worry about exposure to water or dust.
