Playing around with "Drop in the Bucket" and some blues in Atlanta, 1989. At first, David Lee Roth didn't want me to do this clinic, because he wanted everyone to be surprised that I was his guitarist when the album came out, but Bob Ezrin talked him into letting me go. I am really happy I went, because there are no other videos of me playing guitar around this time. Memories come flooding back when I see these videos; learning from Steve TheDeacon Hunter and having him give me B12 shots, stumbling in front of Roth, being diagnosed with ALS and my parents crying every day, relationships with different women, not liking Dave's manager, struggling to play good guitar while my hands were losing muscles, and just being who I was. It seems like lifetimes ago.
