For several years, we used an electronic, fuel injected (EFI) engine from Kohler on our Lightning and Hurricane machines. But due to various issues we had with the fuel injection system, we ended up going back to a carbureted version of the same Kohler engine. Because there are many carbureted and EFI engines out there, it is important to know which engine your floor scraper has on it. Both engines use different air filters, have different troubleshooting process, and have different, important components. So, we have put together video to help our customers tell the difference between a Kohler EFI engine and a carbureted one.
