As the UK’s scarcest 50p in circulation with a mintage figure of just 210,000, the coin currently sells at almost 200 times its face value on the secondary market, and is often listed for phenomenal prices by chancers looking to make some quick cash, so it’s no surprise that a number of fakes have been reported…

So how can you spot a fake Kew?
