Keir Starmer has been criticised for being "too timid" - on tax, the Isreal-Hamas war in Gaza and, this week, his U-turn on Labour's £28 billion green prosperity plan.

However, "incurable optimist" Andrew Marr argues that Keir Starmer is entirely focused on winning the general election, and once in office will become an increasingly radical prime minister.
