Hi everyone. We recently got 2 pigs butchered and I wanted to go over all the costs associate with this process. How much it cost to buy pigs. How much it cost to feed pigs. How much it costs to get pigs processed at the butcher. How much to feed your pigs. How much meat should you expect from the butcher. I think everyone should raise pigs for meat. Pigs are very easy to raise and they only take about 6-8 months to fill your freezer for a year. 2 of our pigs took a little longer because the meat processor was backed up for a bit so we got them in at 10 months. My data is for a 10 month old pig, but you can do the math to see what it would be for 6 month pig.
