In February 1959, nine experienced hikers led by Igor Dyatlov set out on an expedition in the Ural Mountains of Soviet Russia. They never returned. Weeks later, their tent was discovered, torn open from the inside, and their bodies were found scattered around the area under mysterious circumstances. Some were undressed despite freezing temperatures, and others had severe injuries, including skull fractures and chest trauma, but with no external wounds. Despite numerous investigations, the cause of their deaths remains unknown, leading to widespread speculation and numerous theories, including avalanche, military tests, and even extraterrestrial involvement. The Dyatlov Pass Incident remains one of the most enduring and eerie mysteries in modern history.
