Ngawai, from a previous series of Hunting Aotearoa, invites Howie back to go hunting with him and his dad at a place called Arowhana.

There they meet local hunting legend Kupu Lloyd who also manages the farm there. There they enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area and more importantly and abundant wildlife.
