The first few days of our "Cycling North" adventure did not go as planned.
Since we couldn't enter Chile for more than 8 hours, we had to book another flight to somewhere in Argentina to get to Ushuaia. Mendoza was the cheapest option at the time, so we flew to Santiago de Chile and from there directly to Mendoza in Argentina. The idea was to hitchhike or bike all the way south to Ushuaia, which would be more than 3000 km and probably take us more than 1.5 months. After realizing how much more expenses we would have, we thought about other options and came to the conclusion that it would be cheaper for us to hop on a plane to get to Ushuaia.
In the end, we booked a flight to Rio Grande, 200 km north of “The End of the World“
In this video, you will follow us cycling from Rio Grande down To Ushuaia, also known as „The End of the World“ or „Fin del Mundo“
I hope you enjoy the video!
