During the Quarantine in the spring, I barely ever left my apartment in Brooklyn. My daily walks around my neighborhood became a sacred time and I began to watch the streets change each day as spring turned into summer. I decided I wanted to start capturing the beauty of my neighborhood so I tried learning how to use my dad’s old medium format camera (Mamiya 645). One of these days I brought Justin along to capture the process and we shot this video! Then I let it sit on my hard drive for nearly 5 months before finally piecing it together. I hope you find the process of shooting film as soothing as I do and enjoy the video :)
