Learn to knit the Cats Eye Net Lace Stitch with this video. This stitch requires you to CO a multiple of 4 sts and is a 3 row repeat. If you plan on using this in a pattern I recommend you double the row count and make it a 6 row repeat instead so that you can tell which side is the RS vs the WS. I also find it easier to knit with some kind of edging, like having a few stitches of garter on either side of your cats eye net lace stitch.
Co multiple of 4 sts
Setup Row 1:) Knit across (loosely)
1.) *YO, P4TOG; repeat from * across.
2.) *K1, (K1, P1, K1) into the YO from the previous row; repeat from * across.
3.) Knit across (loosely).
Repeat rows 1-3
Note: Some places add edging to this stitch, if you want an edging just add K2 to beginning and end of Row 1. And add P2 to beginning and end of Row 2. Row 3 stays the same.
I used this stitch to create my newest FREE pattern. You can find the video for that shawl pattern here: [ Ссылка ]
The yarn I used in this video is I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby with my favorite needles the Chiaogoo Red Lace Circulars.
